S.Sasikala, currently working as a Lecturer in K.S.R. College of Arts & Science has been working as a lecturer in the field of computer science for the past 6 years. Her areas of specialization are Data Structures and Data mining. She Secured the University First Rank in M.Sc(CS) under Periyar University, Salem and received Gold Medal from Tamilnadu State Governor Dr. Ram Mohan Rao and Central minister Ms. Subbulaksmi Jegadeesan. She has published 4 papers in international journal proceedings and two papers in national journal proceedings and one white paper in international journal of Advanced Computational Sciences and Technology (ACST) and has a total of 7 publications. She has presented 6 papers in International Conferences/Seminars, 16 papers in National Conferences/Seminars and participated in 4 National Conferences/Seminars. She has guided around 50 P.G and U.G students for doing their semester projects and miniprojects. She is a life time member in ACM CSTA, New York. She is the editor and coordinator for the departmental monthly magazine IShare and started the IShare in August 2008 and since 25 editions of the magazine has been released with the student and staff coordination. She has published many articles in IShare and has brainstorming sessions and query discussions with the students. Currently she acts as a member of board of studies for under graduate Computer Science and Applications Department in KSR College of Arts and Science (Autonomous). Being the class advisor she has been the mentor for students and helps them in crafting their future career.
